The book is a dark fantasy, romance book where the two main characters used to be childhood best friends and meet up again after years of ignoring eachother, and find eachother again while one of them was sneaking out. They started arguing, but found out eventually that they both want the same thing - to stop the war going on in the world that the Goddess Freya said she was going to stop, but hasn't done anything about. The two go on a journey with their other best friends, Caradine and Augustine, to go and defeat the Goddess.
