Ao3 is down, and I'm hitting withdrawal so hard I'm not even joking. I'm genuinely shaking, and I'm so scared to read any work on here, so maybe if I make my own on here, it might satisfy the craving. Back to the story...
This is a short Yellowjackets test run since I have been hooked recently. So yeah, here is a iteration of what may have happened if the plane did not crash.

Before the crash, she was just the girl on the sidelines. She wasn't a Yellowjacket. Not really. She wasn't part of the team, the inside jokes, the wins, or the sisterhood. But everything changes when the plane goes down. Thrown into the wilderness with the same girls she used to watch from the bleachers, she goes from quiet observer to someone the others have to rely on - someone they begin to see. She was never meant to be part of the Yellowjackets. But out here? She might be something more. And when survival brings out the truth in people - what they want, what they need - more than one pair of eyes lingers a little too long on the girl who never used to be seen.
