However, when Sprout is given the run down about the new toon, he is hopeful he won't have to wish for a best friend because once he met the new toon, he'd have one. And, he was correct. Sprout Seedly, your average commoner, joins the competition for money to help his best friend, Cosmo, but when he's qualified for a knight, things change fast. Delilah orders Sprout as Astro's personal guard, in which Astro takes as offense, since he believes he can live without protection, and refuses to be guarded like some gem. Though, as time goes on, he grows found of the knight as he helps him through a lot of different challenges.
