Vincent reluctantly forced the question out of his mouth, trying his best not to let it show. Manon sat there tranquill on the obstetric bed, her smile illuminated the sinking feeling in his heart as he stepped closer.
"Céline”, she said,” Rody wanted to name her after his grandmother, It's such an adorable name don't you think?"
Her sickeningly sacciferous spirit made his veins burn with envy. No matter how heartless he was, he could never bring himself to ignore Rody, that stupid dumbass...
It had been a year after the two lovebirds had gotten married and they had already produced an offspring. Vincent felt his heart hammer in his chest, trying to end its own painful existence just from thinking about that day.
The man he so desperately loved felt like he would slip away further and further with each passing second. And he let it happen, he knew very well, but he let it happen and now he would endure the repercussions, it was his fault after all.

The face was slightly covered with mud but the entire hair was immersed in it. From the hair, he knew it had to be a girl so he pulled the sack down to the waist line of the body with his shivering hands. He looked up and nearly died of fright when he met the eyes of the girl slightly open and in his direction. He started wondering if she was a spirit or a witch sent to kill him but then he saw how pale she looked and warded off his vague thought. He glimpsed a thick mass of blood on her stomach and winced internally. She started moving uncomfortably and seemed to be doing that unconsciously.
