A graduating college student thinks he is downloading a creepy indie horror game, only to discover it's actually a sugary-sweet romance game for teenage girls. Annoyed, he breezes through the character creator, slapping together a painfully plain avatar with the ridiculous joke name Chester Bradbury Darling.
The real nightmare begins when he is violently sucked inside the game. At first, Chester assumes he must be the main character of this new reality. But he quickly learns a brutal truth: he isn't the protagonist at all. He is just a nameless background character, totally ignored by the world around him.
Worse yet, the cute romance facade of the game is entirely crumbling. The subtle, hidden supernatural lore is bleeding into reality as a major, terrifying horror event. Now, stuck with a ridiculous name and zero main-character plot armor, Chester has to navigate a crumbling dating sim and survive a supernatural nightmare that isn't even about him.
