Following an invasion of locusts, the Great Valley finds itself without food for the leaf-eaters. The dinosaurs then decide to find a new territory for the coming months. But Littlefoot and the rest of the gang, with the exception of Blue and Mira, begin to worry about their family separating. They run away to find green food and keep their family together after convincing Blue and Mira to come with them, and they find themselves stuck on an island where they find Chomper and his parents, Torv and Tyra. Blue then remembered the secret of Sharptooth's brother, Torv. But will he be able to keep the secret when a Giganotosaurus named Notos enters the island to challenge Torv?
