The past doesn't run.

It crawls.

Slowly. On its knees and hands.
Through rot, through mud, through the filth I thought I left behind.

I grabbed it by the hair and slit its throat.

I watched it bleed out between my fingers, certain it was finally over.

But just when I allowed myself to breathe,
it whispered a name.

A name I had buried in the deepest, blackest corner of myself.

And with that one word-
it delivered the final blow.

The last cruel slap across my face.

A shadow slipped back into my life.
Not to haunt me.

But to rewrite my future in blood-
and rip apart everything I built in the ruins of who I used to be.

"They all wore masks." Diana is a psychology major, an orphan with too many memories and not enough peace. One night after a party, she vanishes, taken by strangers who live in a house beyond the cemetery, where the doors only lock from the outside. But Diana refuses to break. She learns their patterns, their pain. She disarms them one by one-first with her mind, then with blood. This is not a story about healing. It's a survival story. About what's left after the chains fall off. And the truth? Not all monsters wear masks.

𝒮𝒽𝒽𝒽... 𝓈𝒾𝓃𝓈 𝒹𝑜𝓃'𝓉 𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓎 𝓋𝑒𝒾𝓁𝑒𝒹 - 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓎 𝓇𝑜𝓉, 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓇𝑒𝓉𝓊𝓇𝓃 𝓉𝑜 𝒹𝑒𝓈𝓉𝓇𝑜𝓎. Four families-entwined by power, broken by treachery. Eight lives-marked by sins they swore to forget. When the past rises from the ashes, no secret is safe. Beneath the whispers of deception and the weight of bloodstained oaths, a truth too monstrous to stay buried is clawing its way back. In a world where love is just another form of control and loyalty is a death sentence, three couples find themselves trapped in a game where the only way out... is through fire. But not all love stories are meant to be saved. Some are written in obsession. Some are inked in revenge. And some? Some are Veiled in Sin.
