In the Summer Heat

Summer Kingsley,
recently single and permanently heartbroken, is barely making it by. Stuck shoving pills up butts, and giving showers to the elderly, she is simply going through the motions of her job with nothing to look forward to when she clocks off.

hates performing in Tennessee. Nothing can stop the distaste in his mouth when he looks out into an audience and sees old classmates that treated him horribly or family members that swore he'd never make it. That topped with the pressure of hometown fans is enough to make him eager to wrap things up.

At least until the sexy blonde that's been distracting him all night gains some confidence.
