Barry Allen is a forensic scientist who had a rough childhood. His mother was murdered by a yellow figure or the man in yellow. One night he is struck by lightning and is put into a coma for 9 months when he wakes up He finds himself with Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow and Harrison Wells. Barry soon finds out he is the fastest man alive and on the search for the man in yellow he meets Kid flash an adolescent from the future who will help the flash on his search for the man in yellow they will make unlikely allies and fight crime and defeat villains and other speedsters. After catching his wife cheating on him he divorced her. Oliver and Barry had been friends for years and when Barry asks if he could stay for a few days Oliver is happy to help him out.
