"Please let me leave," she breathed out.

A venomous chuckle escaped him.

"No, sweetheart." He stepped closer, shadows swallowing half his face. "After all the chaos you caused, you still expect mercy from me?"

From inside his coat, a pocket knife glinted under the dim light.

The view alone made her flinch.

He tilted her chin upward with the blade before pressing the cold metal against her throat. A sharp gasp tore from her lips as the skin split slightly, crimson droplets sliding down her neck.Tears blurred her vision instantly.

Slowly, he dragged the knife downward, tracing her skin . The blade stopped at her cleavage, pressing harder until blood stained the fabric beneath.

A smirk spread across his face.

"I'll kill you," she spat weakly, forcing the words through trembling breaths.

"I won't die..." she whispered "...until I kill you first."

His smirk vanished, Without warning, he pressed the blade deeper.Pain ripped through her as blood flowed faster now, warm against her skin. A broken cry escaped her lips while he simply watched.

"Let's see."

He stepped back casually and reached into his pocket .This time, he pulled out a cigar.The lighter clicked open.A tiny flame danced between them.

The moment she saw it, her entire body stiffened.

"Do you remember our first encounter?" he murmured softly while lighting the cigar. Smoke curled around him like a living shadow. "What this tiny little spark did to you?"

She started trembling before he even touched her. Because she already knew what he's gonna do with it
