When 13-year-old Jay gets caught hacking the school Wi-Fi (again), he's sentenced to detention-alone, in the oldest part of the building. That's where he discovers something strange: a brick in the wall that's loose... and behind it, a slip of paper with a weird string of numbers.

Curious, Jay runs the code on his laptop-and accidentally unlocks a hidden system that was buried for a reason. Now someone-or something-is watching him. Glitches appear in his school's tech. Messages show up on his screen from an unknown sender. And every clue he follows leads to a bigger, darker mystery buried beneath the school's history.
