Y/N, an independent character who had fallen victim to numerous outstanding debts from different business men. The money was needed to save her family. Until she owed too much. One night on the subway, she witnessed a game of ddakji between a man who dressed very formal and another who seemed like he had a rough couple of days. Her curiosity wanted her to stay and observe yet her families needs prevented her wandering mind. That was until the same man approached her the next day.
After entering the game, she soon realized that the games she was being made to play, were more sinister than she had originally imagined. She found herself being closed off and distant while others engaged in hopeful conversations, along with a player with experience. Her distance and loneliness intrigues the Frontman, making him falter from his plan of breaking 456. His mistakes pile up, making him pin the blame on someone else, causing chaos.

Counts Total words: 120,757 Average words per chapter: 1,589 Amount of chapters: 76 ~~~ Y/N is a girl from America who recently moved to South Korea. She's just getting settled in when she meets an interesting salesman. He tells her that she can play games for money. Making a little money won't hurt... or will it? She'll find out when she decides to join the games. She may also find more than wealth and death in the walls. Maybe she'll find love. This story is a slowburn that includes some enemies to lovers themes/undertones. The reader is female! ~~~ NOTES/ANNOUNCEMENTS/WARNINGS: When Y/N is in the games, I basically follow everything in Squid Game Season One, but I changed a few quotes and events to better suit this book and the inclusion of Y/N. The only trait I have assigned to Y/N is her player number: 055. You can imagine something else though! It won't be very important later on. Some possible triggers including: recurring PTSD, grief, mental breakdowns, drinking, hangovers, very brief sexual assault, detailed sexual assault, etc. More time-specific warnings will be present with the start of each chapter. No warnings = nothing I think will be particularly bad. There's strong language and constant mentions of death as almost this entire story is hosted in a facility that runs death games. But in her, he found something to live for again. Secrets unraveled. Blood was spilled. And when he pulled the trigger on her, it wasn't betrayal-it was protection.
