In the cliffside kingdom of Velstara, where the palace looms above the abyss and the people live under watchful eyes, Prince Till is little more than a porcelain heir-adopted, abused, and meant to be seen, not heard. He survives by writing poetry in secret and playing forbidden melodies on a stringed instrument he hides beneath his bed. He has learned that caution is a form of armor-and silence, a kind of obedience.
But silence does not last forever.
When Captain Ivan, the eerie and unreadable commander of the king's knights, is sent to war, he begins writing letters to the prince-letters that say nothing yet somehow mean everything. As battles rage beyond the cliffs, something ancient stirs beneath them: a rebellion wrapped in song, in grief, in flowers that bloom where none should grow. And the prince's poetry may be the key to awakening it.
Then a letter is found. A truth is betrayed. And a song long-buried begins to hum again.

A Forgotten Past
Memories no longer existing for they have been taken from her no memory whatsoever of the guy she once loved. He took away the one feeling she really enjoyed coming from him she doesn't even know what happened to her. No trace of evidence. She was left alone quite recently when he had disappeared with the last words that slowly dissipate, "I love you." She was living happily but everyone around her grew ever so curious as to why she was cheerful after all he forgot about how the others knew who he was. This doesn't change things for her the only way it would have to change is if he came back from what he pronounced about not going back but having to die for a cause. He regrets these decisions. He has to live with a burden knowing that he didn't die due to someone saving him but who? She remembers nothing but her own happiness doesn't even know what happened to her.
