While Authors create pain with ink, Readers bleed for it.
She is one such Reader-worn down by thousands of lives she never asked to live, hearts she never wanted to love, and endings she was forced to endure. He is an Author-cold, untouched, immune to emotion by design. Until he sees her. Until something cracks.
When an unfinished manuscript draws them together, the impossible happens: he begins to feel. She begins to break. As their worlds collide, one finds purpose, the other seeks escape. But in a story built on imbalance-where one can only feel too much and the other nothing at all-love was never meant to save them.
