Welcome back to the dumpster fire-it's gotten bigger and more discriminatory. American Nightmare 2.0 picks up where Broke Dreams & WiFi Screams left off, diving headfirst into the fresh hell of modern American politics, economics, and systematic oppression. From deportation raids to billionaire tax cuts, from pardoned criminals running the country to SNAP benefits getting slashed while defense budgets soar, from LGBTQ+ rights being erased to racial justice being reversed, this collection doesn't pull punches. These poems chronicle a generation watching democracy speedrun its own destruction while marginalized communities bear the brunt of state-sanctioned hatred. With the same dark humor and unflinching honesty that made the first collection a battle cry, Book 2 tackles Trump's return, Elon's chaos, the systematic dismantling of social safety nets, and the weaponization of bigotry as policy. It's the sequel nobody wanted, but everybody needs-because sometimes the only sane response to organized cruelty is poetry that matches its righteous fury. ❗️Mature rating for language ‼️May be offensive or triggering to some readers

Jesse's life turns upside down once the football player from his school finds out he's gay. Because of that he has to obey to jock's every command or else his secret will be revealed to everyone. Jesse already had a hard enough life because of his alcoholic father and insensitive mother and this made things even more complicated. Not to mention the fact that he was living in a pretty homophobic environment and for his own safety he had to hide his true identity. Will Jesse be able to overcome this challenge? You'll have to read more to find out. *DISCLAIMER - Story contains themes that some readers may consider disturbing such as suicide, homophobia, violence and more. If you're easily triggered by the things mentioned above this content may not be right for you. Ps. This is a first draft of the book. You can find the polished version of this story here by a different title (Melancholic.) It is also uploaded on DREAME and Inkitt. I'd recommend checking that out because it has less errors, a few changes and some added scenes.
