From deportation raids to billionaire tax cuts, from pardoned criminals running the country to SNAP benefits getting slashed while defense budgets soar, from LGBTQ+ rights being erased to racial justice being reversed, this collection doesn't pull punches. These poems chronicle a generation watching democracy speedrun its own destruction while marginalized communities bear the brunt of state-sanctioned hatred. With the same dark humor and unflinching honesty that made the first collection a battle cry, Book 2 tackles Trump's return, Elon's chaos, the systematic dismantling of social safety nets, and the weaponization of bigotry as policy. It's the sequel nobody wanted, but everybody needs-because sometimes the only sane response to organized cruelty is poetry that matches its righteous fury.
