In the year 2025, the BRP Miguel Malvar (FFG-06), one of the most advanced frigates in the Philippine Navy, vanishes from radar during a routine maritime exercise in Manila Bay. Without warning, the ship and its entire crew are torn from their time and hurled into the past-to December 1941, mere days before the Japanese invasion of the Philippines. As the crew struggles to grasp their impossible fate, they find themselves sailing into a nation on the brink of war. Manila is still free, American forces are unprepared, and the looming shadow of the Imperial Japanese Army threatens everything. Now, Lt. Cmdr. Elias Santillan, a stoic but principled officer, must make a choice: Watch history unfold as it did... or use their modern weaponry to change the course of a nation. But altering the past has consequences. As factions rise, timelines collide, and foreign agents sense something unnatural, the Malvar's presence becomes a threat to both Axis and Allied forces. Caught between duty and destiny, the crew must navigate betrayal, sacrifice, and the weight of a future that may never happen again.

A King's Gambit. A Conqueror's Ambition. A Battle That Will Shape a Nation. 1521, Cebu. The great Rajah Humabon rules with cunning, strength, and the favor of his ancestors. But when strange ships appear on the horizon-led by a man named Ferdinand Magellan-his world is thrown into chaos. These men bear steel, cannons, and a faith unlike any other. They speak of a God who rules over all kings. They promise alliance, power, and destiny. Yet in this land, power is never given-it is taken. As Humabon plays a deadly game of diplomacy and survival, a rival warrior, Lapulapu, rises to challenge both king and conqueror. Loyalties shift, swords are drawn, and an empire stands ready to claim the islands. But in a world where betrayal is a weapon as sharp as any blade, who will emerge victorious? Written by Kahlil Corazo, whose scholarly work lies at the intersection of the psychopathic Southeast Asian strongman and René Girard's scapegoat mechanism, Rajah Versus Conquistador is shaped by the author's deep connection to this history-having grown up in Pari-an, downtown Cebu, the heart of what was once Humabon's domain. For fans of Shogun, Dune, and speculative historical fiction, this gripping novel brings to life the forgotten struggle for the Philippines-a true game of thrones played not in fiction, but in history.
