Opening to Love

Christian and Carter have not had what you would call a charming childhood. After years of abuse and neglect, they have finally found themselves in the care of Kai Augustine.
Oh and there's a reason the boys are living with Kai. They - like Kai herself - are part demon, and are going to need all the help they can get to learn how to control their powers.

It's been three months and while Carter has opened up to Kai and well on his way to controlling his own demonic energy, Christian still does not trust Kai. When Christian comes home with a bloody ankle, Kai demands to know what happened. Christian refuses and in the end runs from the apartment, and into the hands of a gang of demons.

What must Kai do in order for Christian to open his heart?
