I kissed him like no other. My fingers acted on their own and gripped his hair, the strands of onyx wrapped in my fingers, and my tongue slipped its way into Edward's mouth. He fought back but I held him too tight. I pecked him somewhere else, on the corners of his eyes, then trailed back to his lips. I didn't want to lose him, not again. What if he disappeared after this? What if I never saw him again? What if this were my mind playing cruel tricks on me again?
In the back of my head, I knew this wasn't real, I wanted to savor it though, take advantage of it. His touch made me have faith.
I needed him.
