The Grey Chronicles Part One: New Declaration of An Old War
Salem Grey has finally negotiated a peace treaty between the Machinae, a war born culture descended from the remnants of the human race, and the Stonehaaryn Coalition, an alien race with blue skin and pointed ears. Both factions were formerly enslaved by the Titanus, a race of alien giants with four arms. After liberating themselves, the Machinae and Stonehaaryn were pulled into a state of near perpetual conflict for two millennium, fighting for resources and (more importantly) planets to colonize and expand their empires. The factions had only recently attained lasting peace with one another, only to be sucker punched by the Titanus, who have rebuilt their armies and thirst for control over their past slaves. The war begins, pieces fall into place, and the former rivals must fight together to defeat their former masters once more.Lengkap
Whisper of Sands
In the heart of a harsh desert lies an oasis protected by the Jakari and Sandwalkers, two tribes divided by tradition. When a hidden city awakens, threatening to unleash its destructive power, Amira, a Jakari warrior, and Liara, a Sandwalker scholar, must forge an unlikely alliance. Their perilous journey into the city's ruins reveals a forgotten past and the key to controlling the power source. By deciphering ancient rituals and learning to communicate with the desert's energy, they establish a fragile peace. Years later, new whispers emerge from the forgotten canyons, hinting at another slumbering force. Amira and Liara lead a new expedition, encountering a colossal creature, a protector of a dormant power source disrupted by their ancestors. Through understanding and diplomacy, they restore the balance and solidify their role as guardians of the desert. Generations pass, and the once-small oasis blossoms into a thriving city-state, Whisperwind. The current Keeper of Whispers, Elara, grapples with a new challenge - whispers emanating from a vast, unknown desert beyond their borders. These whispers, unlike the familiar warmth of the desert, are cold and metallic, a desperate plea from a dying civilization. Through tireless research and a newfound understanding of the whispers, they discover a way to offer aid, bridging the energy signature of the dying civilization with their own spring. The whispers fade, replaced by a comforting silence. Whisperwind stands as a testament to the power of communication and the delicate balance between humanity and the unknown. The Jakari and Sandwalkers, now united as the Keepers of Whispers, face a future where they are not just protectors of their own desert, but guardians of a universe teeming with the potential for both destruction and understanding.Lengkap
Children Of Gaia
Emerging from a dystopian future, a generational space station heads away from Earth in search of a new home. Gaia Station is run by the charismatic AI sharing the same name. Expeditions take place as the smaller, faster Titans seek out and verify the viability of new potential worlds. By chance, four childhood friends find themselves all on the same Titan bound for a new world; where unprecedented discoveries and dangers await them. This is my first work, which I began notes for in 2014. Currently working on revisions. Happy reading. Down Under
|WATTYS 2022 WINNER - HORROR| Shawn, a convicted criminal, never thought she'd see the sun again, let alone call another star system her home. When she's offered an out from her prison sentence, she embarks on a dangerous interstellar expedition along with 18 of Earth's most intelligent criminals. Their task is to set up a base on a supposedly habitable planet and prepare it for colonization. Although the planet has liquid water and a breathable atmosphere, it is believed to host only microbial life. However, upon arriving, Shawn and the rest of the colonists learn that assumption was grossly incorrect. In a brutal attack from rampaging wildlife, everyone but Shawn and four other colonists are killed. The five survivors retreat to the cavernous network beneath the ground seeking safety, but they soon come to a terrible discovery. These caves aren't ordinary caves, and they are no safer down under than they were on the surface. [][][] This was originally my entry for the 2021 Open Novella Contest, and it received an honorable mention! It has now been expanded into a full length novel. I used prompt number 53: "When wildlife starts rampaging, all the humans are forced underground. However, they come to a terrible discovery that being underground is no safer than being on the surface."Lengkap

Lunar Virus ✔️
Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! Star Rider
Ami: "We may be in different worlds, but we share the same moon and stars." This is a sci-fi love story, dedicated to those people who had to depart... Can you still see the stars in the city's sky? Have you ever imagined that your imagination could transcend what meets the eye? Slowly soaring towards the outer reaches of the solar system, you will encounter Mars first, followed by the asteroid belt teeming with activity, and then the radiant Jupiter and the ringed Saturn. Continuing further, there's Uranus, and beyond Uranus lies the deep blue Neptune, followed by the Kuiper Belt. Farther still is the Oort Cloud, a journey that takes at least 20,000 years... This is a pilot's logbook from the era of interstellar exploration. During that time, fusion technology has become practical, and humanity has embarked on voyages into the frigid expanses of the outer solar system, exploring the Kuiper Belt. Earth remains a stage for political and economic struggles, while the explorers are busy bees of that era, pioneers venturing into various planetary belts, far removed from human civilization. This story encompasses love, longing, psychological descriptions, speculation, as well as themes of loneliness, social anxiety, and PTSD. If you're a tech enthusiast, you'll find foundational elements of interstellar travel here: astronomical units, speed and time, the asteroid belt, Kirkwood gaps, Trojan groups, the Kuiper Belt, Lagrange points, orbital resonance, gravity assist, centrifugal force, the structure and construction materials of interstellar space stations, fusion engines, magnetic confinement, propellant propulsion, and other technological concepts.Lengkap
