One fateful day and an unanswered question can become the beginning of an unexpected twist in life. Guenevere has always wanted to know if the 'orphan girl' label atop her head was much more than that, craving answers and hoping that she was keeping her charred bridges of long ago where they belonged. Lincoln wished he could go back and make his past right again. But life had certain, defying plans for him that required his time. Luckily, the changes he made from his mistakes were enough. Hopefully. When the two meet in a series of fated events, a long paused quest involving them and a whole society they belong to can finally continue--one Gwen never thought in her life she'd be a part of. Especially not with someone like Lincoln. Or his circumstances. But on their unavoidable journey, their eyes are opened to new possibilities neither of them thought possible before, which include an important second chance they both secretly need from each other, though they don't know it. Yet.
