their time in colorado couldn't be recalled in order, it was a place they were the most sporadically haphazardly tossed in areas and faces they'd never see or remember again due to constant nomadic life because it was; just. too. difficult. to stay still somewhere. their family had a habit of never being satisfied. it was pattern.

By now, the thought that they'd rather walk back to the shit-shack of a living place they resided in by themselves than wait, but hesitated because it stenched with splats of mysterious liquids they'd never dare to touch too; so they restrained. they swore they were going to bum whatever cigarette they could get their hands on from the next person that comes by, by harassing them or whatever to hold themselves still in their sinfully cheap jacket that allowed for just about all air flow to hold them chilled in place.

The whine of wheels squealed and cried violently against pavement before the grunt of air sharp gasp and thud after a collection of mini combustions. the same wheels screeching away so audibly sickening, it'd be the worst part of their night if it weren't for the sight that stood before them,
right there.

jeez, did their uncle get uglier?

In short: Y/N moves in with the tweak residence in colorado and comes back home more debt ridden than ever.

#1 Teen Fiction | #1 Young Adult | #1 Romance "We all need someone to drive us mad." - The Wombats. He stared arrogantly down at me, a smirk plastered across his face. I sneered up at him with distaste, wanting to wrap my fingers around his neck and strangle that smirk off of him. He brushed my golden hair from my face, his long, slender fingers sparking electricity in my skin, making my knees wobble together. "Will you ever, forgive me?" he whispered huskily, his eyes intently staring into mine. His face was only mere inches from me. I just needed to reach out a little further to kiss him... "Yeah. Over my dead body." I snapped, before throwing my arms out forcefully, shoving my hands into his chest, pushing him from me. -*-*-*- He, is Carter Williams. I, am Lacey Adams. We were once, inseparable. The 'Golden Couple'. The unbreakable best friends, that everybody envied. Nothing could get between us. A part from being tighter than white on rice, we updated our status from friends to being in a relationship, frequently. We were neighbours, which meant our families were all close and even co-owned houses around our town. This, all is, until the day of my sixteenth birthday. Everything changed. The loving relationship we shared, was severed and torn apart. I couldn't hardly stand to look at him any more, without spitting fire that is. Every day is torture being around him. He was in all my classes at school and the window in my room was even directly aligned with his. So, what happens? My mother's mum gets sick, so dad and her fly out. Just them. Leaving me to stay with Carter and his parents, who are never home. We would be alone. In one house. Under the same roof. If I was insane before, I have no idea what I am now. © 2016 by LaurenJ22. 'No, he didn't'. I was so shocked by the turn of events. Everything was going fine and then suddenly boom, everything turned upside down. I just couldn't believe this. What did he think of himself? 'Leave me alone.' I said firmly but his hold on me was so strong. I was struggling to get out of his bear hold but to no avail. 'Oh!! So, the poor lady thinks that I will leave her alone and just let her go free?' He had that evil laugh and boy, his breath stank. 'Man, you just signed your death warrant and I will do one favour on you.' No one messes with me. 'Ooooh, I am so scared that I almost peed my pants.' Again that idiotic laugh. I counted till 5 and then kicked right in his balls. I turned around and grabbed his hair from roots, jerked them so badly and then gave my hard elbow shot on his chin. Everything happened so fast for one moment he was standing and the other lying on floor wiggling. I charged at him with my cheetah speed, picked up a wooden rod and started hitting him wildly, 'You idiotic stinky breath was trying to steal my backpack. You are so dead.' 'Favour, favour, favour.' He was screaming in pain just after few seconds and was panting hard. I picked my paste from my bag and threw at him, 'Brush your teeth.' I was fuming. I turned around and saw him standing wide-eyed, 'Hi, I am Scarlett.' I smiled showing my 32 teeth. 'I am scared.' His look puzzled me. "COME ON!" he yelled, popping back up and slicking his hair out of his face like he was in a shampoo commercial. "IT'S NOT THAT BAD!" "That's what people say right before they die," I muttered, clutching my towel tighter around my shoulders. Kai was already stripping off his shirt like we were in an Abercrombie & Fitch: Wilderness Edition ad. Robin, on the other hand, was sitting safely on a rock with a bag of chips, observing the chaos with a judgmental squint and zero intention of getting wet. "You going in?" Felix asked beside me, voice soft but teasing. He had his hoodie slung over one shoulder, his shirt lifted slightly where he was fidgeting with the hem. I looked at him, suspicious. "Are you?" He gave a one-shouldered shrug. "Only if you do." "Oh, so if I drown from hypothermia, you're cool going down with me?" "Basically," he said, and smiled-the real kind. The crooked, honest kind. The kind I was starting to crave without meaning to. And just like that, my stubborn pride made the decision for me. "Fine. But if I die, I'm haunting you first." ... The humorous people hater, Athena. The girl with a quiet demeanor when she's not with people she's comfortable with and who hates attention from people she doesn't like (which is probably many in this case). She always keeps a low profile in school and tries to push through the endless social interactions around her. The friend group who she lives with is the complete opposite, they're chaotic to say the least. The artsy blonde girl who has a dick of a boyfriend, and the gay dude with musical talent, where the best people she met. When she waits for the bus she takes from school to home, she meets the Asian boy who draws. Read to embrace their story. ... Complete:✔️

We didn't plan it. None of the fights, the girls, or the dumb decisions. But once summer hit, everything spiraled. I was out late, running wild with Kyle and them. We were deep in it-bad habits, backseat drama, and way too many secrets to keep straight. Some stuff we did? You don't come back from that. Cara liked attention. Paris played games. Cara was the one I should've left alone, but I never do what I should. The crew? We used to be tight. But jealousy's loud. Loyalty's quiet. And nobody really tells the truth until it's too late. We tried to act normal. Go to school. Link up. Laugh like nothing happened. But it all stuck. And yeah, we tried to act normal. Go to school, link up, laugh like nothing happened. But it all stuck. Now it's showing up in the worst ways. In texts we shouldn't be getting. In people we shouldn't still care about. If you think this is just another high school story, it's not. It's what happens when you live fast, lie harder... and think nobody's watching This ain't a love story. It's what happens when you don't think twice-and still end up wishing you did.
