After the events of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish [2022], Piero Borrachero, the orange tabby cat known as Puss in Boots, and his love interest Katerina Suletoclavos, the black and white cat burglar discovered their past lives as Puss in Boots and Kitty Softpaws. Their adventures grew more daring, and their friendship blossomed into a hidden love. However, their destiny is threatened by the malicious actions of Death the Wolf, who has been tormenting Puss since his past encounter. As a result, Death the Wolf has come back from the dead for revenge, leading to a final confrontation. Lobo Morales (known as Death the Wolf in his past life), the lead singer of the goth rock band Luna Enlutada, the male version of Evanescence, has joined Puss and Kitty in their quest.
