When Hiccup is caught freeing dragons, the truth never gets a chance to breathe. Astrid sees him and, out of fear and loyalty, tells the village. By morning, Hiccup is branded a traitor and exiled from Berk - no trial, no explanation.
He disappears without a word. And soon after, Berk begins to suffer. Ships sink. Supplies vanish. Fires spark in the night. No one is ever hurt, but the message is clear: someone is watching, someone who knows them.
No one suspects Hiccup.
Not even Astrid.
But when she stumbles upon his old sketches and maps, the truth crashes down: the boy they cast out is the one behind the attacks - and the boy she betrayed is slipping into something darker.
Wracked with guilt, Astrid sets out alone by sea to find him. Not to bring him back. Not to stop him.
But to ask for forgiveness.
And maybe, if there's still time... to save him from becoming what they made him.

Along the way, Hiccup stumbled upon the Red Deaths nest and decided to free all the Dragons from her thinking that all the Dragons were being abused. He lost his leg during the fight but survived. Years passed by, he's now 19. He met a lot of amazing new people and along with it are the people who bring trouble to him. Viggo exists, Ryker exists, Dagur exists, and most important of all.. his home, Berk, exists. He needs to fight all of these people because in the past, he avoided them. But now he needs to face it, because the present and the past decided to pin him in the middle and unless he faces his past, he won't be able to move along to his future. Yes, it's another one of these but I really wanted to do another one and hopefully better than the other one. "What if we left for good?" "What do you mean?" Hiccup was planning to run away but now that Astrid knows his secret, he doesn't know what to do. Then Astrid comes up with a crazy idea that might just save them. They leave for good. Or that's what they thought. 7 years later, Hiccup and Toothless along with Astrid and Stormfly crash land on berk and chaos ensues and probably the greatest threat they would ever have to face. Two years later when Hiccup doesn't write back to Astrid and her letters start coming back to her she takes it upon herself to find him. What will happen when it Hiccup finds a new group of friends? Or when Astrid comes upon a new dragon and finds a family to call her own? What happens when a new enemy comes? Hiccup and Astrid's loyalty to their friends and tribes will be tested.
