What started as her biggest regret, turned into pure joy for Lillian. Well, most days. If you asked, she would tell you she suffered a moment of insanity and her hormones got the best of her. How else could she explain a one night stand with her greatest enemy? Fletcher Fitz grew up in a small town full of wolf shifters. With only a handful of humans, he despised them. Instead of people to protect, he saw them as the reason he could not be true to himself. Lillian, as the only human in a class full of wolf shifters, was the victim of bullying throughout school. The night before Fletcher left town for his first shift at eighteen, he succumbed to his desire to be near Lillian and seduced her. He intended that to be it, to get her out of his system and never look her way again. Fate had other plans. Lillian tried to contact the father of the twins growing in her belly, but his parents refused to hear her out. So, she gave up, and moved away once the people in her small hometown affected her young sons. The sneered comments and whispered insults cut them deep, so Lillian took them to her grandparents winter home to spare them the small town cruelty. Now, fifteen years after Fletcher left, he's returning home to accept the mantle of alpha from his father and lead the pack. But, Lillian is also coming home at the same time. Her grandparents passed away, so she's come to wish them one final farewell. Poor Fletcher is in for one hell of a surprise. Not only is he the father of teenage twin sons, but their mother is not the meek little girl from his memories. No, his sons are alphas, therefore only a stronger alpha can provide the support they need to grow up confident but respectful. Who is this stronger alpha? Why, their mother, of course. This story is one of my pet projects, so I make no guarantees about how often it will be updated. But I hope you enjoy it!
