Percy Jackson was tired. The giant war was finally over and he just wanted to go home and see his Mom, Paul, and baby sister Estelle, but the Fates wont let him go quite yet, he is their favorite demigod after all.
Annabeth Chase, demigod child of Athena and Percy's girlfriend, aka, Gaia's faithful spy. Putting their backup plan into action, Annabeth is doing everything she can to turn the camp against Percy and drive him away. What she doesn't know, is that someone else is patiently waiting for the chance to recruit Percy.
Chaos, creater of the universe, was watching the events unfolding on earth, wishing he could interfere and cause the hero less pain but knowing not to cross the fates. The time was coming though.
Percy stood at the top of half blood hill, as a tear dripped down his face. He would miss them, and regretted not saying goodbye to the few people he still had, but he was leaving. He looked back one more time, before beginning the walk towards the road.
This is my first ever fanfic and i do plan on finishing it then hopefully writing more stories or sequels if this one is good, there will most likely be editing once I finish and I will try to edit and post regularly. Thos will probably be one of the only authors notes for this book because I know a lot of people probably won't read them. I have no clue how long this book will be but im going to try for long chapters and a good story. This is eventually going to be lukercy and will probably be cliche and the generic percy betrayal but anyways, I hope you enjoy:)

Why does he always have bad luck? He snapped out of his thoughts again. He turned around properly and faced the powerful being in front of him. Life of A Young Demigod: Book 1 (Percy Jackson reader insert)
COMPLETED! This is a m!reader-insert fic based in the Percy Jackson universe, as I imagine you can tell. I'm just starting this (as of early March 2023), and have very little writing experience, at least with this style, so forgive me if it begins a bit rough, I will likely go back and clean things up later on once I'm a bit more experienced. I intend this to be fairly strict in terms of major canon relationships and such, I don't have a problem with people who change them and actually quite like a number of stories that do, but I'd like to try something other than the 50th readerxannabeth fic (dont yell at me I actually enjoy those). I also will not be having (Y/N) "take Percy's place" in any way. Again, I have no problem with others who write this way, but it is not how I want to do it. I grew up with Rick's superb writing, and I don't intend to make any fundamental changes to Percy's story. It is great as is and I don't exactly feel qualified to change it. Perhaps I will get more ambitious as I go along, but I am fairly certain of this at the moment. (Y/N)'s story is complimentary. It will of course involve many changes to events, new events, and even slight lore changes to make things work, but it will all make sense within the original framework and hopefully won't be too jarring. In terms of long term plans. I aim to at least get through the end of HoO. That'll probably take a good year or so, so I think that's a solid aim for now. I'm from Long Island, so expect a LOT of specific LI and NY references here and there. Think of them as fun easter eggs :) Books one and two are going to fairly brief compared to the later ones. They're not short by any means, they'll be a solid 3 hour read each, but the later ones will be notably longer. Enjoy!Complete

Okay, so I'd just like to say that this is not well written whatsoever lol. All the grammar is correct, and there's some decent description, but it all feels very rushed if I'm honest. I tried to cram too many ideas in and yeah, it made.. whatever this is. Uh, I have some one-shots on my profile which might be better to read?... If you don't mind a fic being rushed this is probably great for you, lol, but the plot line is very higgledy piggeldy. Um, enjoy? Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. (This is future me in brackets, btw, it did not turn out well lmao). In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul. The ships are: Pipabeth - Piper + Annabeth Chrisse - Clarisse + Chris Solangelo - Nico + Will Valgrace (platonic) - Jason + Leo because I despise Caleo sorry lmao Perpollo - Percy + Apollo I do not own any of these characters, all rights are to Rick Riordan other than the storyline/plot.
