To him, it was all a game. One giant game where he knew how to move the each pawn in order for him to win. He always won. ~*~ After running for whoever knows how long, they stop in the clearing to catch their breaths. She looked at him leaning against the tree. "Why would you help me?" He looked up at her talking. "I don't know you, and you don't know me, why help me?" "I don't know." "What do you mean you don't know?" He starts to walk up to her. She stays perfectly still. "For whatever reason, nothing makes sense... nothing but you." The word around them seemed to stop, she didn't even realize that he took her hand and placed over his heart. They stood in the clearing with her hand still on his heart. She was about to slip it away before he spoke up. "Don't. Please, if you do then I'm still lost and I don't know what is real anymore. He still has me in his games and he still controls me." With that being said, she left it there. "I want you... you mean so much to me and I don't want you taken away from me... say you want me back."
