The club was a labyrinth of shadows and sweat, and he sat like sin incarnate in the VIP booth-arms draped over black leather, rings glinting under low crimson lights. Jeon Jungkook. The name everyone whispered, the man no one dared cross.

You'd only meant to slip in, get a glimpse of the infamous mafia heir your brother warned you about. Just one look. But he saw you first.

His eyes locked on you-black fire, pure heat. He didn't smile. Jungkook didn't need to. The way his gaze traced over your lips down to your throat was enough to make your pulse stutter.
