I wrote this story because I am so tired of reading about the typical bwwm where as the girl comes from nothing and she grew up in poverty blah blah. Okay not all black girls grow up like that and not all southerners sound stupid when they talk (white people). So if you are looking for something different or just looking well I really hope you give this book a chance.

Maysen Mayfeld is a 16 year old girl who's life is anything but ordinary everyday there was something new something more IRONIC than the day before. She grew up in a SMALL town in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia.

Carter Blackwood is an 17 year old boy who's life consist of hunting, fishing, and sports. He moves to Blackwood County after his grandmother dies and his grandfather wants the family closer. He can not wait to be any closer to his 4 uncles and his 10 cousins the only downside is well, they are all going to the same schools.

Can Carter handle that much family? What is going to happen when he meets a girl who isn't like him popular or rich? Will Carter lose friends and family?
