Nine years later, Jane lives alone in the same home she vanished from, keeping to herself. She wants nothing more than to be left alone. The secrets she holds are too dangerous to share, too complicated to make sense of, and as far as she's concerned, enough damage has been done for a lifetime.

But when the Winchester brothers dredge themselves up from her past - entrenched in secrets of their own - Jane's guard threatens to break. She cares about them far more than she'd like to admit, more than she's cared about anything in a long time, and it scares her.
