"Kate..."
"I'm fine. I just never thought I'd see him again."
Kate walked into the hospital room and gently placed her hands onto Richard's left one.
"Castle...." she softly spoke, "Hey, it's me."
Her voice lost its hope and excitement towards the end.
"Dad!"
Alexis and Martha both ran into the room.
"Oh Richard darling," Martha spoke, but she received no response.
"What's wrong with him?" Alexis then asked.
Then her questions were answered as she heard a long beep coming from the heart monitor behind her.
