Mayowa stood back facing the door. His desire for her is still greater than ever but he still couldn't bring himself to be that intimate with her in such a vulnerable state. He wished he could barge in and engulf her in a hug and promise never to make her feel hurt again, but that would be lying. He was brave enough to admit that to himself.
He heaved a huge sigh and peeled himself away from her door, every step taking him further away from her was greater than the previous. Staying away from her was the only way to keep his emotions in check.
