The Crowned Stranger

4 parts Ongoing

In the chaos of battle in 16th-century Joseon, King Jeon Jungkook vanishes-only to awaken in the bustling heart of 21st-century Seoul. Disoriented and confused by flashing lights, roaring cars, and strange metal birds in the sky, he wanders the streets in royal robes, declaring himself king. Officer Kim Seokjin, a sharp and skeptical cop known for his no-nonsense attitude, arrests him on suspicion of theft and public disturbance. Jungkook insists he's a king, speaking in formal old Korean, demanding respect and his palace. Seokjin, convinced the man is either delusional or a skilled actor pulling a scam, books him for psychiatric evaluation. But something about Jungkook's regal presence and piercing gaze gnaws at Seokjin. As modern life clashes with ancient royalty, Seokjin finds himself entangled in a mystery that defies time. Is Jungkook truly a king from the past, or is he just another lost soul in the city? One thing is certain-fate has brought them together, and neither of their lives will ever be the same.
