The young witch Tiva Spade is having the time of her life. She has just graduated from the otherworld university of magic at Nyxrelm. She parties hard to celebrate her graduation at her home at Ashburry heights. That very night, the best day of her life will turn into a nightmare. Other houses of mages attack her home and her party turns into a slaughter.
With his last bit of hope, her father gives her a strange manuscript and teleports her away from the carnage. Although just before she is teleported, she is struck with a death beam in the back.
Suddenly, she finds herself in an abandoned hospital and on the brink of death. Out of desperation, she uses the manuscript and almost sets free the demon Aziel sealed by her family.
Being the last Spade who can release her, Aziel offers a solution that will benefit both.
In a strange bargain, Tiva allows the Aziel to enter her body before she dies. Although they have different goals and ethics, they will have to work together to survive.
