She wasn't looking for a miracle. Just a moment. Evelyn "Eve" Hart has built a quiet life from the pieces of a fractured childhood, one word at a time. As a reporter for the Las Vegas Times, she spends her days telling other people's stories, never daring to imagine she'd be part of one worth telling. Until she's sent to cover Elvis Presley's winter residency at the Las Vegas Hilton. And until the King of Rock and Roll - grieving, exhausted, and freshly divorced - looks out into the crowd and finds her. What begins as a glance in a sea of strangers becomes something unspoken. Something electric. Something neither of them expected. She was just another face. He was the last person she ever thought would see her. But some strangers are meant to collide. Stranger in the Crowd is a slow-burn, soul-stirring fan fiction set against the glitz and ache of 1974 Las Vegas...where fame hides heartbreak, music saves lives, and love can find you when you least expect it. She always thought angels lived in Heaven - until the night he saw her.

Alorah Hart thought life was going perfectly until it wasn't. She had a great job that she loved as a nurse. She had been in a relationship with her boyfriend Dawson Wiles for almost three years and recently moved in together. After the move, Dawson changed and become violent and abusive. She was afraid to tell anyone. They wouldn't believe her anyway. Dawson "seemed" like such a nice guy. After the last attack, she decided to leave in the middle of the night. She already had a bag packed. I opened a new bank account and got a prepaid phone. She left her phone and key on the table and snuck out the door. Once on the road and miles away from home she ended up in an accident. A car swerved and smashed into her. The next thing she knew a police officer was in her face talking to her. Ridge Cavanaugh saved her that day pulling her from the car as it was on fire. When she wakes up in the hospital a day later Ridge is the first person she sees. #1 in Car accidents 6-10-20 #1 in hot cop 11-7-20 #3 in Burns 7-9-20 #8 in lovemaking 7-9-20 #3 in New Adult 10-5-20 #7 in love story 11-15-20 #3 in New Adult 2-24-21 🔞Rated R 🔥Mature Sexual Content 🤐Graphic Language
