Mark and William finally found time to go on holiday. Which meant of course, William was doing all the planning, dragging Mark with him, and was going to force the man to enjoy it. Mark didn't particularly want to go by plane, having heard about cramped legroom, noise and delays, but William was rather insistent. They were there for the experience and the holiday, so Mark was going to enjoy every moment, or William Clockwell wasn't the man who knew best (he was). It may have been less awkward perhaps, if both men were aware of the crush they had on one another. (A story I plan of them going on holiday, having a good time, and having those moments before they realise their crushes aren't exclusive. Just a nice story).

When the love curse hits Wei Wuxian, he isn't worried. He thinks it is a minor inconvenience, but quickly alleviated. Afterall the curse is solved purely on physical contact, so as soon as he touches his husband he'll be fine. It's honestly somewhat romantic. 'The touch of the one you love most will lift the curse mark from your skin.' So he isn't worried, until the curse doesn't lift, and he's left with the horrible, iron clad proof, that he does not love his husband. (The one where Wei Wuxian finds out that he apparently doesn't love his husband, and doesn't know how to handle the situation. It brings out every dark memory he had tried to escape from.)
