Dragons, as stated by Calex's Administration, are apex predators. They hunt anything that is smaller than them, which is everything. Fragile and loving are not adjectives used to describe them.
so, it's a wonder how an entire nest of dragons managed to not only not eat Anastasia, but effectively raise her as well. For thirteen years, Anastasia has thrived living among fire-breathing, people-eating beasts.
Now twenty and out of the, hypothetical, house, She is ready. With a suitcase full of sundresses, two territorial dragons hellbent on squashing her chances at normal, and a wildly optimistic application for someone who's never been to school before, Anastasia finds herself at Calex Technical College exactly 5,342 miles from home.
It isn't long before she finds that she might not be as cut out for city life as she had hoped.
