Be That Girl
I have tried to protect the investment I made in the past by selling the soul of my future. I arrived self-possessed, a winning girl, but I slid the self from the scene leaving me simply possessed. I gained everything then lost it a piece at a time starting with the parts nearest my heart. I must draw the shards together once more and mend this lovely crystal. The art of living is insured by my action not by grasping at slivers in terror of what slips from my fingers. I am what I have inviolate and all else comes to fruition when I am pleased; when I am myself.

I diligently work to remove the soot.
The residue from the last time I tried to hot wire my brain
When I attempted the short circuit of my safety-thinking
I caught my life on fire and flames, though brief, were spectacular.
Electric fires are very jarring
The burning insulation toxic
It leaves bare, stuttering lines crossing and recrossing
My stable base, the methods I once used to keep sane, is shot
All because I wanted to go joyriding in my thoughts
Suspended reality sounds so good but always bursts into flame
Leaving me with soot removal as a hobby

Life: A journey towards self love or....... self hatred
Poems are a great help to depression. My cover is not be very appealing and my title seems boring. Poems are also not liked by people very much and is considered boring. I may not get many views. But in the end "Don't judge a book by it's cover" only wins. So I have bought you some sad poems, food related ones, poems related to the things I love, Love yourself, Romantic and many more. These are written by me and please don't post it anywhere without my permission. To explain you why I have added a pink heart with black background, it is because the poems tell a story of girl(me) to whom people think she is very cold, straight forward, rude and all those things but... in reality she is too soft for this harsh world. The pink heart represents the softness she is hiding inside using her black side so no one would misuse her. The angel in her still haven't faded after getting betrayed, lost, depressed, fake people, bully and many more. She doesn't wants to go through this again. The pink background in the upper half tell that she still have hopes in her life. I want the readers to know the deep meaning behind the Title themselves and I won't reveal it until the end of the book. Keep your guesses up and think what possibly could be the meaning of this unusual title. Thank you and enjoy the journey of this little girl warning: if you are expecting this to be a story then sorry it isn't a story but a collection of poems written by the "little girl" depending on her mood that time. In Love With Blindfolds On
I gave the best of myself to someone who didn't have anything to lose. I didn't know how to avoid my lover's toxic and abusive flames. My lover's twisted words were like a maze inside of my head that I couldn't escape. Sadly, my lover's actions hypnotized my thoughts and paralyzed my thinking. I learned the hard way that love isn't leaning in for a kiss, and a fist meets you halfway. Love isn't being a punching bag because someone decided they wanted to beat on you today. Love isn't saying I love you just because someone wants to keep you to themselves. I tried to be there for my lover, but I learned it is impossible to fix the broken pieces when the glass has shattered. There will always be pieces that are not repairable. However, I kept going right back to the person who I needed to walk away from. I was afraid, and I wasn't brave enough to wake up from this nightmare! I made the choice to suffer when life is meant to be lived and enjoyed. This is a collection of my writing from the past 7 years. Before I started to write, I was a very lost individual, as are most teens, but I was lost in darkness. I was too afraid to move anywhere at all. I hid in the dark, debilitated by my own anxiety, sadnesses, anger, and hopelessness. I was desperate to be loved and feared it the most, I was a coward, I was self-destructive, I would mentally bend my thoughts to the point of bordering insanity. I was born into this world alone, and got too comfortable with it. Maybe I still am, but a fraction of what I used to be. This writing is extremely vulnerable, and potentially disturbing to others, as all my weaknesses, strengths, obsessions with making every moment sentimental, the sickening desperation I've had, the destructiveness, and the constant brutal reconstruction of my mind. Without guidance, it's been absolute intense chaos. Though, there is beauty in the darkness. Everything can be found in the darkness. You'll find that through my writing, I've somehow slowly become exactly what I've written. A living representation of my writing and what I wanted to be. Without myself even knowing it. A lot of my writing themes are based around nature, or some kind of natural aspect. The imagery I paint with natural metaphors is constant, the animals, just like you and I, the plants, and all other living things. I planted these seeds in my mind, unknowingly at the time, where I now feel the deep dark green jungle pressing at the inner walls of my skull. It's all that I want to consume my mind. There's so much to learn. The magic of nature, and it's infinite wisdom. It's as if I have been on this path all along, and I didn't even know what I was doing, yet my body and mind were passively taking care of me. Giving me and eventually showing exactly what I want, and wanted to become. I have every moment, every instance of suffering, and every epiphany to be thankful for. I lost someone dear to me in the midst of the Heroin Epidemic hitting MA in the last 3 years that spurred me to write The A Team. It is a reference to Ed Sheeran's song. This story was my grieving process. Without it, I'd be in a maelstrom of emotions that I wouldn't know what to do with. Also, my favorite band, Fall Out Boy, has a physical copy of this story. I gave it to them this past summer at a Meet & Greet in Mansfield, MA for the Boys of Zummer tour. I'd probably bawl my eyes out if I ever hear that they read it, but I don't want to hold out too much hope. They are my second form of coping with anything, and their music gave me the drive to even write the novella. Here's the description: What does it mean to truly learn to love your life again?
