That is how one would Describe Antaeus Newton Scamader.
To say he was different from most of his peers would be an understatement. He didn't feel like he quite belonged in Gryffindor.After all most Gryffindors look for bravery and glory.
To Antaeus Glory is only honorable to those selfish enough to desire it.
And Antaeus did not desire glory, he did not desire to be brave or even to have his accomplishments go noticed he just wanted a quiet school life. Caring for the creatures his grandfather and father had left him to care for.
But when paired with a certain Gryffindor for a Care Of Magical Creatures assignment, suddenly all eyes are on him.
