Lailah, a 16 year old girl, lives with her father and twin brother, Micah. Together, they experience a tragic loss that occurred 6 years ago. Ever since then, they have kept family as their number one priority.

Lailah never lets anyone get close to her, except for her bestfriend and family. She stays away from boys; preventing the heartbreak. She doesn't want to experience the feeling of loss again.
