When Lyana Mardhiha arrives at the home of Tan Sri Idrus and Puan Sri Mahani, no one notices anything unusual about her. She is polite, hardworking, and always smiling - the perfect maid. But beneath her calm expression, she carries the weight of a past too painful to tell.
Living in the same house is Aish Rayyan, their 21-year-old son - cold, quiet, and known for keeping his distance. At first, he pays her no attention. But slowly, he begins to notice the little things:
the way Lyana stares into space when she thinks no one is watching,
the way she flinches at loud voices,
and the letters she writes by candlelight in the garden at night.
One rainy evening, Lyana collapses in the kitchen. While helping her, Rayyan stumbles upon a box of unsent letters hidden beneath her bed. Letters addressed to her late mother - filled with confessions of sorrow, betrayal, and trauma no one had ever heard.
For the first time in his life, Aish Rayyan feels something stir in his chest.
Guilt? Curiosity? Empathy? He doesn't know.
But one thing is clear - he wants to know her.
And maybe, just maybe...
he wants to save her from the pain she no longer believes she deserves to escape.
