Four people with contrasting outlooks on life find themselves on different journeys to better understand themselves as they navigate through their mid-twenties. Facing mental health issues, grief, love and heartbreak, each one must find their own complicated path to happiness. Isabel Winter has suffered more than most people at only 24 years old. She is trapped in a mundane existence by her anxiety and grief at the loss of her parents and her grandmother that she can't break away from. She fears she will never be able to see the world until she is convinced by her best friend Cleo to throw caution to the wind and go on the trip of a lifetime. Cleo Blakeley is full of energy and joy on the outside, but inside she has been battling demons for years that risk coming out as she embarks upon her road trip with Isabel. Living in a van and travelling the world together starts out as a dream come true, but things become complicated when Cleo lets her old habits return to the surface, and things take a turn for the worst when she falls in love. Stephanie Lowe has spent so long living in a daydream that she feels she has no identity left when her long-term fiancé Minoru abruptly leaves her to travel the world. Unable to accept that their relationship is over, she takes drastic measures to try and win him back. With no self-esteem and no concrete plans for the future, she feels directionless and has to make many poor decisions before she can learn to respect herself. Minoru Saito is happy just to be alive, and is even happier when he escapes from his toxic relationship with his fiancé Stephanie. His only goal is to travel the world and create good memories, but the weight of his old relationship holds him back.
