Welcome to Gilded, where love is weakness and the ruthless hold the power. For Theo, it isn't a very hard lesson to grasp; especially when your boss and practically cult leader, Duke, is an all-powerful drug dealer. Along with his friends, Elijah and Alexei, he's brainwashed for most of his life into working for Gilded and staying in the "Family". Yet everything he's been taught crumbles in one night, at one party, because of one man who holds New York in his hands; Aleece. But when Duke gives Theo the task of killing an up and coming drug lord and it turns out to be Aleece, Theo's life is in for a change more drastic than anything he could ever imagine. With the clock ticking Theo's forced to choose between what's most important: the truth he just discovered, or the lies he's always known. *** The Roaring Twenties never looked so good.
