Yvonne getting sent into the maze was a mistake. Yvonne getting sent into the maze was a mistake in the sense she was supposed to be the martyr for maze b, not the beginning of maze a. When WCKD discovered what had happened, they didn't panick because they didn't think yvonne would survive anyway. Yvonne survived when nobody thought she would and she was close to getting out of the maze, so WCKD had to throw her off her game, they started sending boys up in boxes every month. Soon enough, they accidentally send up the only boy as desperate to get out of the maze as yvonne. The only thing is he's the one who made the maze...

What if... Teresa never went with Thomas when she died, but instead, got the serum and went to try to save Newt without anyone knowing. Everyone would be gone to the Safe Heaven thinking Newt and Teresa are dead. But 1 month later, Newt woke up, healthy again and cured. Newt and Teresa then make a team to try and get back to the Safe Heaven where is everyone. This is an alternative end for The Maze Runner : The Death Cure (because I'm clearly still not over Newt's death and I'm so mad that they killed him, so yeah...)
