Baseball, that's all life's ever been for Angel Pages, a college student living in Brooklyn, New York. His family and friends, and baseball. Life was never that complicated as long as he had those. He's in college and doing well, he's one of the best players on his college's baseball team, he's healthy, and he lives in the greatest city in America.
While he's on track for success in life, potentially making it far in baseball, and as his father, his brother Nicholas, his sister Ana, and his best friend Benny cheer him on, life is about to turn completely upside down for him. All in the blink of an eye, he's no longer in the Brooklyn he knows and loves. Anyone he recognizes is no where to be found. His phone doesn't work. He finds himself trapped, and meets someone he was never meant to know.
This story takes place in an alternate timeline so some details of history will differ, especially with events in MLB and World Series history.
