Aera, a 15 year old, not-so-dumb, teenager crosses path with a card just when she was about to give up on life.
All she knew was that her mother died while giving birth to her due to some sick organ failure, and her father was no where around. She had no family, so she was put in an orphanage. That was when she was adopted by a drunk sucker.
Kim Ji-hoon, a 45 years old man who had no job, no wife and no child. He wasn't in debt when he adopted Aera when she was 2. His main motive to adopt her was to have a daughter. But it's all in the genes. His father was an alcoholic abuser. So Ji-hoon becomes one too.
Aera had one of the worst childhoods anyone could imagine. Desperate to become an adult and escape the demon she lived with, she made her way to the subway tracks, ready to end it all.
