Following the fall of Nara, the Republics manage to stabilize the frontline near the Elbrus River. With winter coming in a terrible resolve, both sides needed to focus their attention somewhere else-and the answer is Badashan. Home to the graveyard of mountainous terrain and dry desert, Yuito Watanabe was dispatched to the city of Sharif with Midori Moriko as his journalist companion. There, they met Muer Linsya, a veteran Colonel who dedicated his life into this graveyard of desert.

Meanwhile, Ilya Altinov, Malka Miraseva and Lev Alyosha were assigned to the Registan Desert from which, a counter offensive deep into the enemy territory-passing through the Anshir Valley.
