There's something about the wind in the mountains-
like it knows the secrets buried deep in your heart.

Xiao Zhan had dreamt of this place too many times to count:
An ancient temple resting quietly on a secluded hill.
One side broken-ruins, shadows, and crumbling stone.
The other alive-lush greenery, divine silence, and a sacred shrine.
And below the temple, carved into the earth like an old reservoir, a space where people gathered to eat. Not ordinary food-
they served meat, offerings made in the name of gods. A place where belief and blood mingled strangely.

He never came alone.
Not in the dream.
Not today.
