Bonnie had disappeared for a good two days and nobody really noticed. Caroline was looking for her but she also had to deal with Tyler and his werewolf thing. Elena was too rapped up in the Salvatore brothers to care, Matt was dealing with the whole supernatural thing, and Jeremy was dealing with the whole Anna and Vicki ghost thing.
Nobody seemed to notice that something is seriously different about Bonnie when she gets back. Nobody but Caroline questioned her but that was only after Bonnie broke up with Jeremy and Caroline found her crying on her grandmother's grave.
"Where exactly were you, Bonnie?", Caroline asked her as she wrapped her arms around her broken friend.
"It not exactly where but when", I said through my tears and pain I felt as my chest tighten.
"What are you talking about?", Caroline asked pulling away and wiping my tears.
"Caroline, I was here in 1864", I admitted and she looked at me with wide eyes.

Klaus, one of the Original vampires, arrived and is now hunting Elena and Ellie, but Ellie makes a deal with Klaus's brother, Elijah, to protect her loved ones. Uncle John returns to Mystic Falls, and this comes as an unpleasant surprise to Elena, Ellie, Damon, Jenna, and Alaric. John reveals to Damon that the only way to kill an Original is with a dagger dipped in white ash. Ellie finds out that if a vampire uses the dagger, that vampire will die. Ellie stabbed herself in the stomach, and Elijah begged her to help him heal her. To prevent Ellie from dying. Damon feeds her his blood to prevent her dying in the sacrifice, much to Stefan's displeasure. Stefan tries to work a deal with Klaus to save Ellie's life. Klaus agreed to the deal to have Stefan work for him. John asked Bonnie to cast a spell on him. The next morning, John succumbs and dies. At his funeral, Jeremy gave Ellie a letter from John, telling her that he would always love her and that she would always be his daughter, even if she became a vampire. Will Ellie survive? Katherine shows up and kills the witch to help Stefan protect his one true love. Klaus brings Stefan back to Mystic Falls to see what Stefan's hiding. The seniors hold a prank night at school, and Klaus shows up and finds Ellie's still alive. Klaus feeds Tyler his blood. Klaus then realised he needed Ellie's blood to successfully create hybrids. Damon and Katherine go on a road trip to try and find Mikael. Klaus compels a nurse to drain Ellie of her blood, but Damon shows up and tells Klaus Mikael is coming to town. Lexi appeared to Ellie, and they tried to get Stefan's humanity back before Ellie gave up on him. Bonnie is reunited with her grandmother. Jeremy can now touch Anna, and Ellie sees them kissing. Rebekah reveals to Ellie and Elena how they became vampires. Stefan enlists Bonnie's help in hiding the coffins he and Ellie took from Klaus. Klaus has one of his hybrids hit Jeremy with a car. However, Alaric is hit instead. It is revealed that it isn't working the same way, and it does not fully heal him. It's Caroline's 18th, Matt, Ellie, Elena, and Bonnie surprise her with a party to send off her human self. Jeremy leaves.Complete
