Victoria Ingram was just seven years old when she was sent to the Tudor court as the ward of Queen Catherine of Aragon upon the death of her mother. At court, Victoria befriends the three year old Princess Mary.
In 1526, 13 year old Victoria is sent to France as a lady in waiting to Madeleine of Valois, the eldest surviving daughter of King Francis I of France.
1535: After living two years in France, two years in the Burgundian Neatherlands as a lady to the Regent, now 22 year old Victoria returns to court as a lady in waiting to Queen Anne Boleyn. There at court, she catches the eye of many, especially one rakish King of England.
