A violent attack turns the lives of Ruby Shaw and her family upside down. They lost everything except each other.
The family finds shelter with the Malfoys, but with each passing day, the manor begins to resemble hell more and more and Draco Malfoy was the devil himself. He was, without a doubt, the most arrogant and self-absorbed person she had ever met.
Time goes by, and for a fleeting moment, everything seems to be okay until they realize it's not themselves, but something much darker that has taken control of their lives.
